Return Policy for the Neat 30-Day Free Trial

When you order a NeatDesk or NeatReceipts unit with the 30-Day Free Trial, you will be charged only for shipping & handling (exact costs will depend on your selected shipping method). After the trial period, your credit card will be charged according to the payment option selected at the time of purchase. If you decide to cancel the 30-Day Trial, we will pay for the return shipping back to The Neat Company. Within 5 business days of receipt of your returned product we will refund your initial shipping and handling costs along with any payments charged to your account. Please note that if you are scheduled for a payment prior to us receiving and processing the return, the payment will be charged to your credit card as scheduled. However, the full amount will be refunded to you once your return has been processed.

Holiday Return Policy

Neat products make great gifts and we want you to purchase our products with confidence during the holidays. Therefore, we're extending our return policy during the holiday season. Any product purchased directly from Neat via phone or web between November 19, 2012 and December 24th, 2012 will be eligible for our Money Back Guarantee return policy until January 31, 2013. Returns Process

Returns Eligibility

Only customers who purchased NeatDesk or NeatReceipts from the TryNeat.com website or from the phone number displayed on our television ad will be eligible to return the product as part of the 30-Day Free Trial. Customers must make contact with The Neat Company within 30 days of purchase to be eligible for a return.

Limitations

Returns must be shipped back to The Neat Company intact in the original packaging with all original components within 5 business days. If one or more of these conditions are not met, The Neat Company reserves the right to assess a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. If the merchandise has been broken or defaced or is returned without authorization, it will be returned to the customer.

Shipping Labels

The Neat Company will email a printable UPS return label to the email address used to initiate the returns process. Spam-blocking software may interfere with the delivery of this label. If our first attempt to deliver the label is unsuccessful, you may be asked to provide a secondary email address. If the second attempt is also denied, you may be asked to ship the product to our office yourself.

Refunds

Refunds for authorized returns will be issued to the original credit card used at the time of purchase. The credit will be processed within 5 business days from the date the return is received. If the credit card used at the time of purchase is expired or invalid, we will issue a check to the billing address on file within 30 days of processing your return.

If you are on a 4-Payment Plan or Pay in 30 Days Plan and a payment is scheduled to occur prior to the return being processed, the amount due will be charged to your credit card. However, the full amount taken will be refunded when the return is processed (if all conditions specified above are met).
